1) What is supervised visitation?
Answer: Supervised visitation is a structured service that allows children to spend time with a parent or caregiver in a safe, neutral setting. A trained supervisor is present at all times to support positive interactions and ensure everyone’s safety and well-being.

2) Who can request services?
Answer: Services may be requested by parents, legal guardians, attorneys, court personnel, or child welfare agencies. In some cases, other involved professionals may also make a referral with the consent of the parties or the court.

3) Who may attend visits?
Answer: Typically, visits are limited to the child(ren) and the visiting parent or caregiver named in the referral or court order. Any additional adults or children may attend only if they are specifically approved in advance by the court, referring agency, or our program.

4) How long are visits?
Answer: Visit length is determined by the court order, referral, and the needs of the family. Most visits range from one to two hours. Longer or shorter visits may be arranged when appropriate and when scheduling allows.

5) How are appointments scheduled?
Answer: Appointments are scheduled in advance through our office. Once we receive the referral and required paperwork, we contact each party to review availability and confirm visit dates and times. Visits are by appointment only; we do not accept walk-ins.

6) How is payment handled?
Answer: Payment responsibility is usually outlined in the court order or service agreement. Fees are discussed with each party before visits begin. Payment is typically due prior to or at the time of service, and we provide receipts for all payments.

7) What happens during the first visit?
Answer: The first visit focuses on helping everyone become familiar with the setting and expectations. The supervisor reviews guidelines, answers questions, and supports the child(ren) and visiting adult in easing into their time together. We observe interactions and provide gentle guidance as needed.

8) Are reports provided?
Answer: Yes. We document each visit in a factual, neutral manner. Upon request or as required by the court or referring agency, we can provide written summaries or reports that describe attendance, general observations, and any notable concerns.

9) What if someone arrives late?
Answer: Please note that our schedule is strictly maintained. If a parent or party is late for their arrival, no additional time will be added to the visit. The session will conclude at the originally scheduled time, as parties are only entitled to the specific time slot for which they have paid.

10) What happens if a visit is canceled?
Answer: Any cancellations initiated by a parent or party, including no-shows, will result in a full charge for the scheduled visit. This policy ensures the availability and commitment of our supervision staff and facilities for all families.

11) Can services be mobile?
Answer: In some situations, supervised visitation may be provided in community settings or other approved locations. Mobile services depend on safety considerations, court orders, staffing, and availability. These options are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

12) Are virtual visits available?
Answer: Virtual or video visits may be available when appropriate and permitted by the court or referring agency. We use secure platforms and follow the same supervision standards as in-person visits. Technology requirements and guidelines are reviewed with each party in advance.

13) How is confidentiality maintained?
Answer: We follow strict confidentiality practices and share information only as permitted by law, court order, or written consent. Records are stored securely, and discussions about your case are limited to authorized parties and professionals directly involved in services.

14) Are children supervised at all times?
Answer: Yes. A trained supervisor is present and actively monitoring for the entire duration of each visit. The supervisor’s role is to support safe, child-focused contact and to intervene if safety, comfort, or program guidelines require it.

15) What areas do you serve?
Answer: We primarily serve families in Lehigh, Northampton, Bucks, and surrounding counties. In some cases, services may be available to families outside this area, depending on safety, travel, and scheduling considerations. Please contact us to discuss your specific location.
